Toronto Real Estate agents reported a total of 3,555 resales through the Toronto MLS in the first two weeks of February, 2010. This was a big increase from the recession months of February, 2009 were only 2,044 sales were recorded during the same period.
The average Toronto resale price was $471,958 compared to $400,467 , for the first two weeks of February.
The Toronto Real Estate Board (TREB) reported an increase in new listings by 15 per cent to 6,212.
It was also reported by TREB that double-digit home price increases will continue through the first quarter of the year with the annual rate of price growth moderating to single digits later in 2010.
