The Toronto Real Estate Board has released their April results for Real Estate sales and average prices.
Toronto Real Estate Agents reported 9,041 home sales through the MLS in April, 2011. The numbers were down 17 per cent from a year ago but in line with the average April sales over the last five years.
The average Toronto resale home price was $477,407, an increase of 9 per cent from a year ago.
The Toronto Real Estate Board is calling for more listings in the near future with more balanced market conditions.
Toronto Downtown Condos continued to show positive increases in their average resale price. The Toronto central downtown Condos area (C01) increased 6.1 per cent, the central district close by (C08) was up 10.2 per cent and North York Condos in (C15) increased by 16.1 per cent year over year.
