According to industry experts (BILD) Toronto builds more Condos in all price ranges compared to any other major city in the world.
According to Realnet Canada, similar size one bedroom plus den units were priced as follows:
- Toronto Condo... 633 sq.ft. $288,900 ($456 per sq.ft.)
- Calgary Condo.... 678 sq.ft. $357,900 ($528 per sq.ft.)
- Vancouver Condo 615 sq.ft. $461,000 ($739 per sq.ft.)
The Toronto Real Estate Market in Condos is seeing strong competition in terms of international level architecture, building amenities and even location.
International investors and new immigrants to Toronto are playing a stronger role in buying Condos than in the past.
Recently we have heard the first time buyers are also moving into the Condo Market in larger numbers and the empty nesters and young professionals are moving to purchase new and resale Condominiums as well.
