Toronto Real Estate Prices Decline Slowing
Mid February Toronto Real Estate sales are down from the same period last year and prices are down as well but the rate of decline is slowing according to the Toronto Real Estate Board.
The first two weeks of February had 2,044 Real Estate home sales in Toronto compared with 2,775 sales in the same period last year.
The Toronto Real Estate Board has noticed a slowing in the decline of prices and if this trend continues it could point to the average Toronto home price levelling off between $360,00 and $370,000.
- 416 area saw average home sales drop 23 % from 1,066 last year to 816 this year
- 416 area saw average home prices drop 8 % from $434,914 last year to $400,467 this year
- 905 area saw average home sales drop 28 % from 1,709 last year to 1,228 this year
- 905 are saw average home prices drop 4 % from $355,059 to $341,013 this year
