The Toronto Real Estate Board statistics for December 2008 and also the year end figures as well, should be published shortly.
The big comparison will be Toronto Real Estate sales and average resale prices for 2008 as compared to the record year of 2007.
There are three variables that will affect The Toronto Real Estate Market:
- Interest Rates
- Job Creation
- Consumer Confidence
Obviously the Toronto Real Estate Market is not immune from all the economic uncertainties facing consumers today.
We believe we will see Toronto Condos increasing in certain areas in average price in a year over year comparison.
Toronto's hottest neighbourbourhoods like the Annex and Forest Hill should continue to hold their appeal even in this slowing Market.
