Toronto investors have been lining up to purchase prime waterfront Condo suites. A few high profile projects because of locations had purchasers lining up overnight and not just in the downtown 416 area. A new development in Markham’s 905 area had condos sold out in a short period of time as well.
Most new Toronto Condo developments are actively marketed to overseas investors in the UK, Singapore, South Korea and India. Most of these investors are looking for a long-term hold because our prices are more affordable compared with other international cities.
Changing demographics suggest that future Condo sales should continue to rise with the baby-boomer generation beginning to enter the 55-plus age group and leaning towards the Condo Lifestyle.
The demand for Condos is also driven by first time buyers who can not afford the average detached home in Toronto or the GTA. Not only can a first time buyer find the price level they are comfortable with, they can also choose from the various locations thru out the city, uptown, downtown, or even North York and the 905 areas.
Here are some very desirable resale waterfront Toronto Condos that are on my Toronto Real Estate website.
