Here we are in 2007 and I am looking forward to an exciting new year in the Toronto Condo Market.
Condo developers here, are estimating an incredible 13,000 condo units to be completed in the Greater Toronto area in 2007, compared to 16,000 units sold last year, that will not be completed for many months to come. Usually these new condos have a closing date of two to three years away.
For many Toronto Condo buyers, purchasing their first condominium, it will be well worth the long wait. Condominiums are usually in great locations steps to Public Transit, or within walking distance, to the City core and now new restaurants and cafes are opening up, to service the lifestyle these condominium owners.
Fortunately there are so many projects to choose from with prices from two hundred thousand, to well over one million dollars. There is something for everyone and a location to match. The choice is very diverse compared to New York city that had 10,000 less Condo sales in 2006. Because of the competition by Toronto developers, the prices are lower. Toronto is now a vibrant world class city and its possible for new buyers to live in a variety of urban lifestyles compared to no other city at an affordable price.
There you have it, the joy of Toronto Living!
